Obscure Your Vehicle’s Interior Behind A Sports Car Tint
Only you and your passengers should be able to see the beauty that is inside of your vehicle. But how do you adequately hide your front and rear seats from the dangers of the outside world without leaving your vehicle parked in your garage or covered by a sheet? The stylish, simple, and extremely effective answer is with our window tint film packages here at Olson’s Custom Detailing Inc!
Our three different vehicle window tinting services improve your vehicle’s privacy by keeping wandering eyes from gazing into your interior, but the protective efforts do not stop there. Window tinting has been known to keep ultraviolet rays away from your dashboard, center console, and perhaps most importantly, your skin, much like sunblock.
Window tinting is not only for sports cars and exotic, custom vehicles - your daily driver will benefit from the endless interior protection that our XPEL Window Tint Film products provide! Learning About State Tinting Laws - Illinois Rules and Regulations
There are a specific set of rules and regulations here in the state of Illinois surrounding window tinting. These rules restrict the level of tint darkness and outline what is acceptable in terms of reflectiveness. We took these rules into consideration when creating our window tint film packages and dually, when selecting the specific XPEL products that we offer here at Olson’s Custom Detailing Inc.
When examining the window tint laws of Illinois for our New Lenox detailing customers, understanding tint darkness is paramount. For Sedans and common daily drivers, front, back, and rear windows must allow more than 35% of natural light in, while larger vehicles like SUVs, trucks, and minivans are more complex. For those, the front windows must allow at least 50% of natural light in, while the back and rear windows mirror Sedans in allowing 35% of natural light in.
Window tint film reflectiveness is a simple answer for the state of Illinois: it is not allowed. All window tinting must be non-reflective in nature, so we only employ packages that abide by this strict rule. If you are interested in learning more about why these laws are in place, or to verify that what you are asking for in the way of vehicle window tinting is acceptable, please contact our installation crew today.
